Kajang, an famous old miner town that have been slowly displaced by immigrants, locals slowly moving out where they used to belongs, now the place lost its' identity. The project aim to create an urban centre that bond the locals together through engagement. The art centre offer urban intervention that identifies the distinctiveness of place, without disturbing the locale character.

The design​ intention is to repurpose the site, site A into a Performing Art Centre, that act as a platform that engage Kajang Community together. The locals enjoy and interested with traditional dances. They take it as hobby but there ain't any places or dedicated classes for them to gather together and learn. Hence, this centre will be the key to hold performances and dance art for Kajang community.
